Privacy

Privacy

The short version: no accounts, no tracking cookies, no ads, nothing to sign up for. We count visits in an anonymous, aggregated way so we know which patterns and guides are useful, and that is all.

Updated October 28, 2026

What we don't do

  • No user accounts, logins, newsletters or forms. You never give us your name or email address to use the site.
  • No cookies for tracking or advertising, and no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
  • No advertising networks, no social media pixels, no selling or sharing of data with anyone.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, an open-source, privacy-friendly analytics tool, which we host ourselves: the data stays on our own server and is not shared with Plausible or anyone else. Plausible:

  • uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device;
  • collects no personal data: it records the page visited, the referring site, your browser, operating system, device type and country;
  • uses your IP address only for a moment, to work out your country and to count unique visitors with an anonymous identifier that changes every day, and never stores it;
  • only ever shows us totals, never an individual visitor.

We also count pattern downloads (which pattern, and which format: Letter, A4 or SVG) in the same anonymous way, so we know which designs people actually use.

Hosting and files

The site and the pattern files (pictures and PDFs, served from cdn.kinusaiga.org) are delivered through Cloudflare, which, like any network that delivers web pages, processes technical data such as your IP address to send you the page and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare may set a strictly technical security cookie in some cases (for example to tell people from bots); it is not used for tracking or advertising. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so no request goes to Google Fonts.

If you email us

If you write to hello@kinusaiga.org, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We never add you to a mailing list. Ask us to delete your messages at any time and we will.

Changes and contact

If we ever add something that changes this page (for example ads or a newsletter), we will update it here first, with the date at the top. Questions about privacy: hello@kinusaiga.org. More about the site on the about page.
